What are the minimum qualifications of the employee to be endorsed to BPI ePayroll? Employee must: > be a Filipino > at least 18 years old > have a Philippine address > have at least one (1) valid ID (from the list of acceptable IDs) > have active email address > have active PH mobile number
Can I endorse a non-Filipino employee? Only Filipino employees are qualified to be endorsed to BPI ePayroll application. Non-Filipino employees must be endorsed to the branch for face-to-face account opening as there may be additional documents needed to open a payroll deposit account.
Can I endorse an employee without an email address? Email address is mandatory as employee is set to receive the company endorsement with the Unique Reference Code thru the email.
Can the employee nominate a company email address? Employee can nominate a company email address if the email address belongs to the employee (not a distribution list email/mailbox) and can receive external email (no restriction in receiving emails outside the specified domain).
Can I endorse an employee without Philippine mobile number? PH mobile number is mandatory as employee is set to receive the company endorsement with the Unique Reference Code to email and SMS. The employee's mobile number also plays an important role in BPI Online banking once the application is approved.
Can the employee nominate a non-PH mobile number? For now, the BPI ePayroll can only support PH mobile number.
Can I endorse an employee without Philippine address? Only Filipino employees with Philippines address are qualified to be endorsed to BPI ePayroll application.
Can I upload a non .xlsx file format? BizLink only accepts file on .xlsx format. A message prompt will be shown if the employer attempts to upload a non-supported file format.
Can I upload a growing file? For every successful file upload, the system creates unique reference code for each employee and sends email and SMS invites. Thus, uploading a growing file will result to: a) Termination of active unique reference code (application in progress) b) Another BPI ePayroll invite to employees with successfully approved ePayroll application (duplicate payroll account) c) Another BPI ePayroll invite to employees that require in-branch/face-to-face payroll account opening
What are the employee information to be encoded/included in the upload file? Employer needs to encode only the following employee information: > Employee Number > First Name & Suffix (e.g., JUAN JR) > Middle Name (e.g. BAYANIHAN) > Last Name (e.g., DELA CRUZ) > Email Address (e.g., juandelacruz@gmail.com) > Mobile Number (e.g., 9191234567)
Can an employee update or edit any of these information? The employee information encoded by the employer are the ones visible in BPI ePayroll portal. Employee will not be able to make any changes to any of these information.
What if the employee does not have middle name? If the employee does not have Middle Name, simply put apostrophe followed by single hyphen (‘-)
What if the employee number is not yet available? The Employee Number may only serve as placeholder and unique identifier for each employee within the upload file. Hence, employer does not need to wait for the actual Employee Number before endorsing in BPI ePayroll portal.
I can't seem to submit the uploaded file and keeps showing an error message. Depends on the error message/remarks, follow the suggested handling in BizLink Error Message tab.
How can I correct/update the details of the employee that I have included in the list and already approved / tagged as "Successful" in BizLink? Employer needs to re-endorse the employee with the correct information by reuploading the file. The system will create a new unique reference code and triggers the email and SMS invites.
Can I withdraw/recall an uploaded file that is already approved / tagged as "Successful" in BizLink? For every successful file upload, the system creates unique reference code for each employee and sends email and SMS invites. Thus, it can no longer be stopped. However, the unique reference code is set to expire after seven (7) calendar days.
Can I upload or endorse ePayroll applications during weekends or holidays? The BizLinks ePayroll Enrollment facility is available daily, including weekends and holidays, from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
Is there a cut-off time in uploading or endorsing BPI ePayroll applications? The window time in creating or uploading BPI ePayroll endorsement file is 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
How soon will the employee receive the email and SMS with the unique reference code? Once the uploaded ePayroll endorsement file is approved, the employee will receive the email and SMS invite after one (1) hour.
What are the acceptable IDs for BPI ePayroll? Acceptable IDs upon application are as follows: > Philippine National ID (PhilID/ePhilID) > Company ID > Driver's License issued by LTO > GSIS ID > MARINA ID > OFW ID > OWWA ID > Pag-IBIG ID (with photo) > Passport > PWD ID issued by NCDA > PhilHealth ID (with photo) > Philippine Postal ID > PRC ID > Senior Citizen ID > SSS ID > TIN ID > UMID > Voter's ID Other identification documents issued by the Government of the Republic of the Philippines, including its political subdivisions, agencies, and instrumentalities are accepted (e.g., NBI Clearance, National Police Clearance).
